Stop collection agencies dead in their tracks!
These 18 questions to ask debt collectors every time they call can be one of the most important weapon in your Creditwrench arsenal to stop abusive debt collectors dead in their tracks!
Debt collectors work on a commission basis and they have to meet a certain quota of collections in order to get their commission checks. They can't afford to waste valuable time and these 18 questions will soon make them realize that they are wasting valuable time trying to badger you.
Wolpoff & Abramson is a collections law firm that gets most of it's business from MBNA and other credit card companies. They usually buy the debt and then proceed to use the arbitration clause that is in most credit card agreements to get an award from the National Arbitration Forum (NAF) then proceed to judgment in local courts. Creditwrench has a positive action that will prevent their getting an award from NAF most of the time.
A list of collection agencies in Houston, Texas Do you really believe that if you pay that collection agency what they claim you owe them that will help your credit ratings?
If so then think again because paying won't help your credit ratings, it will only hurt them even more!!
Here is why that is true. Paying them don't take it off your credit reports! You pay them and all that happens (if you are lucky) is that they put a notation on your credit reports that says "Paid charge off" or "Paid collection item" and that don't help you even one little bit. In fact, it hurts you two ways.
1. It ensures that the derogatory item is going to stay on your credit report for the full 7 years allowable under FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act.)
2. Any item, even an inquiry from a collection agency is a poison pill on your credit report!

Here are the audio recordings for a part of last night's (Friday, May 25th) conference call. Our callers were having such a great time learning from each other that we let the call go on for a whole hour of overtime. There was also another reason for letting the call go on for an hour of overtime and that was that the recorder messed up and so the entire call did not get recorded.
The first hour was deleted by the recorder so we needed to let the call go on for an extra hour to make up for that time lost.
Here is the first part of what got recorded.

Here is the second part of the show.

Here is the third part of the show.
